In an effort to feed the spirit of friendly competition, camaraderie and just plain old fun, our group has set upon a quest; one which would have us play ALL of our group’s board games at least once by the end of 2012.

After some discussion, the group thought it would be interesting to have players rank each game from 1 to 10 in a series of categories, including the overall enjoyment of the game. This process will enable the group to play many games that have been acquired and never played over the years. It will also provide individual feedback towards each game, which going forward, will certainly determine the games we choose to play in the future.

This website includes summary pages of all games played (and ranked), all games in the combined collection, and a page that lists the rankings for a particular user in the group. All columns can be clicked on to sort the information as you wish. Each game itself also has an individual web page that provides all rankings from players of the game. There is game board/box art work to identify the game and a description section that provides a brief overview of game play. The comments section at the bottom of each game page includes notes from the group, providing opinions on what is or is not liked, and may provide a little more detail regarding game play.

As you will notice, the games on this list do not include the ‘classic’ type board games everyone knows. This web page is primarily meant for the members of this group and the types of games this group plays.

But, feel free to use our information to learn about unfamiliar games and see if it’s something you may be interested in playing.

Our goal is no different from any other group that gets together to play a board game – to have fun!!
