I agree - this game was a pleasant surprise. Even on the first try, where strategy is a little unknown, this was a fun game. In our game, I was between 2 players clearly with an advantage in strength of arms/army. Rather than trying to 'keep up' I went in a completely different direction, earning victory points in education and knowledge. Despite taking -1 or -2 each round in Army battles, I still managed a 2nd place finish. I really look forward to playing this game again.

This is a really good game. There are tons of different ways to win. I am not normally a fan of card games but this one is really good.
