Star Wars: The Queen's Gambit

Two player game that recreates the final battle scenes from Star Wars Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Choose your side and fight as the Jedi's, the Queen and her Officers, Anikan, and the Gungans or Darth Maul, and the Trade Federation's droid army. There is a lot of set-up involved in the style of a risk or Axis and Allies type game. Much like those games, battles are decided by dice rolling and decks of cards that control which battleground the fight takes place in. Win the game by either storming the Palace and capturing the Trade Federation's Viceroys with the queen and her army, or prevent the palace takeover and the Sith win.

A note that it can actually be played as a 4 player game, but I think it loses a lot in doing so and thus only consider it a two player game.

Aside from the 2 player aspect, I really enjoyed this game. I find myself not overly drawn to 2 player games....maybe because there's no moral victories in finishing a close 2nd out of 4-5 opponents. You either win or lose in a 2 player game. Still the mechanics are really good and the strategy to attempt to win is multifaceted. somewhat intense game too. The fact that it is Star Wars, only helps

Awesome 2 player game. Replay value is very high. multiple ways to win and lose.
